A message from TACC: The Arctos databases for both prod and test were taken offline this past Thursday, July 15th, from 10AM Central time until at least 2PM Central time. This was to apply hardware maintenance and to move equipment in the data center to make room for our next supercomputer.
Update 19 July 2021: Unfortunately the outage has continued until today to completely rebuild Arctos’ extensive tables and ensure its stability. It has taken longer than originally planned. The good news is that while doing this needed maintenance, we will be able to use what we’ve learned about its configurations to build a more robust test version as well as any other mirrors of Arctos. We expect to be back online shortly.
